October 6, 2009 -- The Council of Regional Public Library System Administrators will present a workshop entitled Library Legacy Programs and Arts Partnerships at 12 locations around the state.  The workshop will focus on how to create and maintain successful partnerships and programs using Arts and Cultural Heritage Library Legacy funds.  Leah Hughes, Children and Youth Program Director at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts, will share her knowledge on how library programs focusing on the major arts affect the learning process and will provide positive outcomes for this important grant initiative.  The workshop will be held from 9:30 to 12:30 p.m. at various locations.

This workshop should be a high priority for anyone hoping to participate in Arts and Cultural Heritage Library Legacy activities, programs and partnerships with the Arts community.  To register for a session nearest you or one that meets your calendar, please register with the local contact as named in the list below.  Your email to the site contact should include:

  • Your name
  • The name of your library or arts organization affiliation
  • Email address
  • Any special accomodation you may need.

Pre-registration is required for the workshops.  Send your information to the site contact no later than three working days prior to the session of your choice.
