Investigating a possible "Marketing Public Libraries to Minnesota" project that will include a statewide, private-partner funded project that will promote the visibility and use of public libraries across the state.   The planning process will provide the necessary tools to seek funding for the promotional campaign for Minnesota libraries.

Activities during FY 2007, funded with an LSTA grant from the State Library, included:

  • Conducting marketing research
  • Conceptualizing project theme and developing logo in concert with marketing strategy
  • Outlining suitable approach to project funders.
