Regional Library Systems offer traditional materials and electronic information technology to almost every Minnesota community. Regional systems have 50 years of successful experience supporting the work of local libraries

Regional systems create maximum efficiencies among public libraries. By working together, Minnesota's libraries bring all of these services to every resident. Even the smallest libraries in Minnesota's systems have access to the wide range of materials and electronic services.

The twelve systems blanket the state. All twelve regions work closely together with the state library agency to provide smoothly integrated resources.

Arts and Cultural Heritage Library Legacy

With the passage of the Legacy Amendment by Minnesota voters in November 2008 and the appropriation of a portion of the Arts and Cultural Heritage funds by the Legislature to regional libraries, CRPLSA will support programs and services at libraries and cooperate with community organizations to enrich the lives of library users.  A news blog is dedicated to information about Arts and Cultural Heritage Library Legacy funding and CRPLSA's collaborative efforts.
