MN Children's Museum Taking Applications for Smart Play Spot Sites
Labels
The Minnesota Children’s Museum has a history of creating exciting learning opportunities for young children, their parents and other significant adults in their lives through fun, educational exhibits and programs that promote and enrich early childhood development. They are happy to announce that with funding from the Minnesota Clean Water, Land and Legacy Amendment, Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, and through community matching funds, they now have the opportunity to build on this work by installing a permanent Smart Play Spot early literacy environment in up to 12 libraries and community sites throughout the State over the next two years.
Sites will be selected through an application process. Click here to see the Request for Proposal for the project description, history, and application. Applications are due March 16, 2012.
This project was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota's Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
