The work of area potter and art instructor Lori Charest will be featured in the Thorson Memorial Library display cases from mid-January through mid-March. The Library is planning a public reception and artist talk, as well as a two-part pottery workshop for children and families.
In February, the Thorson Memorial Library will feature a Saturday Arts Program with Potter Sean Scott. Mr. Scott, of Pomme de Terre Pottery, will discuss his approach to working with clay and glazes, then lead a workshop on hand-built pottery for adults and older teens. Pre-registration is required for this event on Saturday, February 8.
