With technology changing at such a rapid pace, Minnesota’s multitype systems kick of 23 ways to explore personal devices. 23 Mobile Things is a self-discovery, web-based learning program. Using your own devise you will discover apps of all kinds from social networking to photo editing to birding. The “Things” may highlight apps you already have loaded and are using while other apps are sure to be new. This will be your opportunity to explore.
As much as possible the creators of 23 Mobile Things have tried to find free apps for both Apple based (iPhone and iPad) or Android-based (such as Google Nexus, Samsung Galaxy) devices. Each of the 23 Mobile Things will introduce several possibilities. You can spend as much time as you feel you need to get of sense of the app and then simply blog your reactions.
Registration opens January 15 and is open to all library staff in any Minnesota library, as well as library trustees.
